DuckSTARTER Launch Preparations: Announcing Tiers and Audit
We are excited to announce that DuckStarter development is complete and the platform is ready for launch. In a true DuckDAO fashion, user security is our main priority, and just like with all of our previous products and platforms, we don’t want to rush the launch.
We’ve commissioned Certik as an auditing firm to fulfil an immersive security audit that would reveal any weaknesses in the current version of our platform.
Depending on the results of the audit, the release is right around the corner.
Introducing DuckSTARTER Tiers (DuckTiers)
As mentioned in our previous article the DuckSTARTER platform will be available to users that hold & lock-in DUCK token deposits.
- Bronze: 2,000 DUCK Tokens
- Silver: 5,000 DUCK Tokens
- Gold: 10,000 DUCK Tokens
- Platinum: 20,000 DUCK Tokens
- Champion: 100,000 DUCK Tokens
The tiers are subject to change in the future.
To earn the Tiers, users will be required to lock-in DUCK tokens on the DuckSTARTER platform. Early unlocking will trigger a penalty burn, but the amount burned depends on how many days have passed since your most recent DUCK lock-in.
- Deposit < 10 days — 30% Burn
- Deposit < 20 days — 25% Burn
- Deposit < 30 days — 20% Burn
- Deposit < 60 days — 10% Burn
- Deposit < 90 days — 5% Burn
- After 90 days — 0% Burn
The count is reset every time you deposit more.
For example, if you lock 2,000 DUCK for the Bronze Tier, but 10 days later you decide you want to go up to Gold and lock an additional 8,000 DUCK, the timer is reset back to zero.
You would have to keep your DUCK locked for 90 days from your most recent deposit if you want to unlock without a penalty.
Each project will have a different structure regarding the tier benefits, however, users will be able to get the most out of the platform with a Platinum tier, followed by the Gold tier and going down from there.
At least a Bronze tier is necessary to participate in the platform.

Navigate to DuckSTARTER and connect your wallet. Find the “Lock-in” button and follow the process.
