Tech Update: Gameplay Balancing

Another week, another tech update. We hope you are enjoying the public alpha, Duelist King allies, as much as we are. This week’s update will highlight what our development teams have been doing to improve Duelist King in light of your valuable feedback.

Last week, we highlighted that our development teams have been working hard to enhance the user interface of our game. This week, we are happy to announce that gameplay balancing has been at the forefront of our efforts to improve Duelist King.

As part of your feedback, many of you have expressed that the game seems unbalanced, with some cards having too high mana and power while others have too little. We are busy fixing this imbalance to ensure that our game is balanced in an acceptable way.

Likewise, our ranged cards also seem to be overpowered. Thus, our development teams are looking to nerf ranged cards to provide a better balance.

Furthermore, our teams are also focusing on the battle phase of gameplay to improve the strategy elements behind battles.
