POOL | Curtain comes down on Dundalk Pool League season with awards night
Castle Bar Baize go home with two trophies
The curtain came down on the 2016/2017 Tuborg Dundalk Pool League season in the Avenue Inn on Monday night.
The various winners and runners-up from each competition were on hand to collect their prizes from Diageo rep Ciaran Reilly.
The big winners were Castle Bar Baize who went home with both the Des Denning Cup and the Open Shield trophy.
As well as carrying out MC duties, Pat Brady also received the Individual runners-up trophy and collected a winners prize — alongside John Dugdale — in the Pairs competition.
“I would like to thank everyone who took part in the Pool League during the year and congratulate the various winners and runners up,” said Brady.
“I would also like to thank Tuborg for their continued sponsorship of the league, Ciaran Culligan for taking the pictures and Gavin McLaughlin for his continued coverage of the league on Dundalk Sport.”
