Dune Network is a secured Web 3.0 platform designed for enterprise-grade decentralized applications. It is, both, a public ledger that uses a working Liquid Delegated Proof-of-Stake (LDPOS) with its Dune (DUN) token, and a free software platform that can be used to instantiate private blockchains.

Dune Network primarily focuses on security, correctness and ergonomy, while aiming at facilitating development of distributed applications. That is why Michelson, Liquidity, SmartPy, and many more languages were compatible Day 1. After introducing Love, a brand new Smart Contract language, Dune Network is now compatible with the Solidity language.

Solidity is the Ethereum official Smart Contract Language

The Solidity language, created in 2014, is one of the most used Smart Contract languages in the crypto-universe. It was initially implemented for Ethereum, and it quickly spread to other projects (Tendermint, CounterParty, Tron, …).

Solidity contracts are available on the Dune Network DevNet. You can check that out on the Dunscan for DevNet. We are working on a tutorial to let you deploy your own smart contracts soon… And on many more surprises !
