We here express our deep regret for the trade termination of DVP on Bithumb.
On Sept.11, 2018, DVP got listed on the Bithumb Exchange through strict reviews. We’ve long been good partners since then and jointly hold several marketing campaigns, which won strong support from the South Korean community. We’d like to express our sincere gratitude to Bithumb for their support and cooperation. However, Bithumb issued a warning tag notification on DVP in May, 2021, under the impact of the South Korean regulatory policy and DVP’s putting most efforts on project development.
Upon receiving the notification, the DVP team has made a complete and active operations strategy, strengthening the community building and progress disclosure. Meanwhile, DVP regularly reported the latest technology updates and future plan adjugements to Bithumb and DVP community. Unfortunately, despite all the recognition we’ve gained from the community, Bithumb ultimately decided to terminate the trade of DVP on its platform. We respect all decisions made by Bithumb itself, except the reason mentioned in the trade termination announcement that DVP has no clear development direction and plan. We have great confidence that all achievements and plans we’ve made can withstand any scrutiny and review. Therefore, we decided to issue part of the reports we submitted to Bithumb.
At present, DVP and Gate.io still maintain a good relationship. DVP will further optimize the DVP liquidity on the platform to meet the normal trading demands of our community users. Meanwhile, we will continue the communication with Bithumb to solve the misunderstandings. In addition, DVP has in advance deployed the infrastructure needed to support the BSC ecosystem. The development of DVP ecosystem diversification has been in progress, which means the work to get DVP listed on other leading trading platforms can stay immune from this incident.
As a technology-oriented security platform, DVP stays committed to technology development and research. At the same time, we will extend operations and disclosure efforts. The trust of the community is always the greatest motivation to us.
