This time, we had a small group (5 people) so by the end of the meetup, we got to know each other pretty well.

Continuing the tradition of sharing our favorite songs, here’s the list:

If you have a Spotify account, you can also follow the playlist.

We bonded a lot over our college times. Fun aside, here are some of the action items that came out of the meetup:

  1. There were a lot of bad interview experiences shared. Getting to know the culture is bad in the interview itself is way, way better than getting to know after joining. Getting to know it without having to go through the toxic experience itself would be the best! So we are collecting such experiences here: https://twitter.com/dev__adi/status/1234537159530434561
  2. Some folks wanted to get into technical writing. They had written drafts on some of the topics but were scared to put them out there. On probing further, it was the case that they didn’t want to publicly associate the post with their names in case it doesn’t get good reception. This traps them in a vicious cycle: They don’t publish because they feel the writing is not good enough, and the writing can’t improve without feedback! To solve this problem, we have started “The Next Big Writer” program: https://twitter.com/iamshadmirza/status/1236994683689029632

P.S. If you’d like to volunteer for jotting down notes during the upcoming meetup(s) and / or writing the next blog post, DM me on Telegram.
