The NFL Draft is in a few days, and in anticipation of that I am really excited to announce a new feature that has been in the works for a really long time — the DynastyFF Tools Draft Mate!

The Draft Mate is a tool designed to help people draft better, period. It does this in a few ways that I think makes it pretty useful for players of all experiences.

Real-Time Draft Day Assistance

Draft Mate was originally built to be used in real-time with your drafts. Instead of printing out lists from 3 websites along with your favorite ADP, Draft Mate gives you instant access to our Rolling Aggregated Ranks (RAR) at your fingertips. RAR are built around FantasyPros free dynasty ranks — we regularly poll them for updates and then smooth out the ranks based on the last 5 polls, meaning you can get a solid grasp on expert consensus and not worry about outliers. Simply follow along with your draft and enter players as they’re taken.

Customizable

Draft Mate has plenty of options for you to enter your specific draft settings, including number of teams, number of rounds, Superflex support, rookie/start up, and snake/standard formats.

Draft Your Way

Our RAR are opinionated and are a solid system that would allow any new player to go into a draft armed with a decent draft list, however Draft Mate as a whole let’s you decide how you want to draft. Don’t want to follow the provided draft board? Use Draft Mate to get an insight into 16+ individual rankers from FantasyPros prefer and see your options. Find the best available player by position, ADP, or by who the individual experts prefer.

Practice Makes Perfect

Draft Mate isn’t just useful for draft day, but can help you practice and run your own scenarios. Draft Mate allows you to fully control the draft, picking exactly what players each team takes — however it also allows you to prepare for the unknown. Using a system that combines aggregated ADP and rankings, Draft Mate can simulate picks to present realistic draft-day scenarios so you can run through your drafts as many times as you want and practice your strategy. Mock your drafts on your own time.

Player Selection

The player selection interface is intended to be easy to use while providing as much information as possible. There are a handful of ways to select players here:

You can search for a player…

You can quickly see the app’s suggestion based on RAR…

Or you can look at a variety of other ways to see the top players available.

Draft History

From this tab you can see every pick made, as well as swap out which team owns each upcoming pick.

Draft Board

The draft board presents players in order of RAR and updates in real-time as players are taken. It shows where those players are taken according to ADP, and calls out when players are available well after the spots they’re usually drafted at.

The Team Boards

You can see exactly what each team looks like, including which future picks they own, what players they’ve already taken, and where those players were taken relative to their ADP.

Draft Simulation

Intelligently simulating picks is easy — simply click this button for a pick you want to simulate that isn’t your own!

Drafts Saved Automatically

Drafts are persisted after every pick and can be accessed via your dashboard.
