From Grigora to Dzooco

The “Dzooco” idea didn’t just fall out of thin air. We started out as “Grigora” way back in 2019 as a food delivery service with its own delivery agents, delivering food to consumers in Abuja, Nigeria. After three years using this model, we discovered it wasn’t sustainable and vendors weren’t really getting the full package.

Boom! That’s when we decided to head back to the drawing board and after much sweats (ps: we are still sweating it out) and lots of research, we are coming out with a better business model-Dzooco. We plan to evolve into a more dispersed market ecosystem where customers, vendors and delivery agents can co-exist for a mutually beneficial e-market experience.

What We Are Really Doing

Don’t know how best to say this without sounding smug, but we are really planning to bring more fulfilment to every vendor and the general public out there in Africa and we are starting with Lagos. Our key focus currently is on small and medium businesses in the food, pharmaceutical and grocery shopping sectors including cloud kitchen operators. Dzooco is working to build the #1 e-commerce app and to do that is no easy feat. This we know, yet we aim to please and please we shall.

How We Plan To Do This

We truly value our prospective merchants and users, and this is why we are working on tools that offer 24-hour support as well as resources to drive merchant growth.

By listing on Dzooco as a vendor, you should expect to get access to lots of unique digital marketing tools that will grow your takeout sales, reach new customers, and increase your brand awareness.
