10 Reasons to be an Entrepreneur

Entrepreneur is someone who has ability to recognise an opportunity, shape a goal and take advantage of a situation. He plans, raises resources, and gives birth to new ventures. He’s his own boss. Most of us today want to see a change but he is the one who dares to take risks and create the change. But the other part is, entrepreneurship demands a lot more hard work than an average nine-to-five job. So when the work is hard and hours are long, these are the reasons that keep people motivated to be entrepreneurs.

1. Freedom
   An entrepreneur is free to call his own shots, he is the incharge of his destiny. He is capable of setting up his own life. Moreover being your own boss is one of the best feelings you can have. What time to work, what task to do, which place to have the office is for him to decide.
2. Change
   Many successful entrepreneurs today had started their ventures with the vision of some change, may it be in the society, market or their bank accounts. Entrepreneurship involves bringing about change to achieve some benefit. This benefit may be financial but it also involves the satisfaction of knowing you have changed something for the better.
3. Opportunity
   Entrepreneurship brings to you the opportunity to do what you want to do, and once you start doing great work for it, success knocks your doorsteps. If you are doing what you have always wanted to do there's no need for any push. You will work hard for your own satisfaction and now the work is the mecca for you.
4. Impact
   As an entrepreneur every action taken has a direct impact on the outcome of the business. As an employee what you do has a limited impact. But when you're running the company, each and every thing you do can either make it or break it. So this needs a great sense of responsibility in the entrepreneur, and this is the reason why self belief, initiative and risk taking are some very important traits to be an entrepreneur.
5. Family
   Although being an entrepreneur you need to work harder than a normal employee, but you get to spend more quality time with your family, this is one of the best things you can expect from entrepreneurship.
6. Legacy
   Leaving a personal legacy is a huge motivator in the decision to do entrepreneurial work in many cases.Everyone wants to be remembered in the future generations.If an entrepreneur has built up a quality enterprise which can sustain and earn profits for him in the long run, he sure is not going to die soon in the memories of the people.
7. Accomplishment
   What makes people truly happy is, a sense of accomplishment. The achievement may be in financial terms but the sense of having created a good something from nothing is the true feeling of success.
8. Responsibility to society
   An entrepreneur is always analysing the state of the world, examining the larger stories that are playing out on a macro/global level. While he strives to make sense of these big-picture stories, he is also searching for the places his personal strengths and passions can make a larger impact on the world. He feels himself to be responsible for the society and is always looking for ways to improve the society in some meaningful way.
9. Autonomy
   The founder of dream arts studios was reported saying "Fear of failure is what motivates me to keep going. I'm scared of going back to corporate and being a robot again."
10. Control
    Some entrepreneurs are driven by the sense of security that comes along with being in full control of their work. They get to make all the decisions about the action plan, where to invest, what companies to deal with. Though there are employees who are given specific tasks, but the final call is for them to make.
