Introduction
Well, if you don't know about E-Cell NIT Raipur then go ahead else you may want to skip this section.
The Entrepreneurship cell, NIT Raipur is a non-profit organization that manifests the essence of entrepreneurship in the passionate youngsters who have the zeal to pursue entrepreneurship and advocate this vehement enthusiasm in the generations to come.
Keeping this ideology in mind we not only provide the foundation to the entrepreneurial capabilities of the promising young minds but also help in nurturing their skills by providing resources such as new ideas, funding mentoring, other mentorship programs, workshops to help them organize their strategy and frequent, highly interactive speaker sessions and lecture series.
We are the student's body, working voluntarily to nurture and build an entrepreneurial eco-system in and around the campus.
Our History
E-Cell was officially formed in 2011–12 session by our beloved seniors. We are very very thankful to our seniors for starting this cell and growing it since then. Almost 9 iterations after the formation of Team E-Cell. We have dreamed a lot and achieved most of them.
We have been helping the budding entrepreneurs by organizing sessions on various related topics. We have been conducting activities to nurture the skills of those students. Every year we organize events like E-Summit, B-Model (Ignition), Wallstreet, etc.
It all starts with a single step
The E-Summit that we see nowadays is not how it was started. Earlier it was just a bunch of students working for a cause. So we used to organize events with Eclectika and Aavartan. And we are very thankful for that to both the teams.
There is a saying that, slow and steady wins. And after those many years, we have our own event as E-Summit. Where we live and celebrate entrepreneurship.
Our Mission
The Entrepreneurship Cell, NIT Raipur is a platform for the aspiring young minds who wish to pursue entrepreneurship and reach the pinnacle of glory. The cell aims at manifesting the essence of entrepreneurship in the convoluting gray matters of the young force coming up.
This delegation gives wings to ideas and support in the form of investors and seed funding along with mentorship guidance to the pioneering and budding entrepreneurs. The cell aims at promoting the startup culture and building up entrepreneurs who have it in them to become the greatest pioneers of this century.
About E-Summit
E-Summit provides a platform that showcased riveting Speaker sessions, Mind boggling Quizzing rounds, Business Model competition and some virtual play with the stocks and money out there. E-Summit being one of the prime events of E-Cell involves interactive sessions by eminent people of this field and every year E-Summit sees a wide variety of renowned speakers in their respective fields. E-Summit witnesses an exhilarating response from the spectators which included students, professors, and other enthusiasts.

We have been adding new events regularly. We have been improving and refining them as well in a regular interval, every year. Our mission is not only to have an annual event. But, rather create a platform where you can interact with the similar mindset people, learn from them, help them and get help as well in the case.

Startup Camp 2018
2 startups( Govatsa and exosolar) were selected for investment under a nonclosure deal.
Exosolar Pvt Ltd is the only India based company that develops unique styled robots to clean solar panels quickly and with greater efficiency. Exosolar has developed a dual-natured robot that can give wet as well as dry cleaning thus reducing the consumption of water and boosting up the generation of electricity.
GoVatsa makes Bioproducts for agricultural work, Unique organic plant extract that induces the plant to self-produce higher levels of naturally occurring hormones, which improves plant health, vigor and end yields.
Startup Camp 2017
3 startups (Bbags, gimbooks, techB) were selected for a total tentative investment of 1.2cr
TECHB is a 3D Printer and Electronics manufacturing company headquartered in Bhilai, Chhattisgarh (C.G.) that currently focuses on producing 3D Printers and TeachPAD (Exclusively by TECHB) in India.
Bbags which makes multi-functional backpacks, meeting requirements of a fast-paced life.
GimBooks Create professional and elegant looking invoices and manage the day to day book-keeping in seconds and easily deliver them to the clients whenever needed.
