Hours of discussion, continuous meddling with the code, fixing critical bugs, going through different phases of testing, making the user experience flawless requires knowledge, skills, teamwork, passion, and determination to get the job done. At Entrepreneurship Summit we organize B-Quiz and Wall-street, both of which are fully powered by the tech team.
B-Quiz
B-Quiz stands for Business Quiz, it is an online event. Get your cortex fixed cause this quiz spins your head around. Explore some of the de facto of business quizzing. Guide your cerebrum’s way to this b-quiz that will catapult you into the world of business facts and figures. Learn More
Wall Street
Wall Street is a virtual share market contest for the brokers out there. Invest money and take home big. The winner keeps it all. Challenge your mind’s trafficking power and run away with the best bet in this virtual stock broking exchange.
Selection
Candidates are interviewed for getting selected in specific domains. Interviews are completely unbiased and test the real development skills of the applicant. Every applicant is given a set of tasks after the first round of interview based on the field they are applying to.
Orientation
After the tech team is formed we have a formal orientation session where we discuss different technologies which we could use for our projects and finalize one or more out of them. Also, divide the work among the members according to their skills.
Brainstorming
Since all the work of the tech team is managed using git, we have few brainstorming sessions on git and the technologies we are going to use. A session is held to made new members aware of the ongoing developments in the team. The new members are given access to the source code base. We start with the documentation of the models, the design of user flow. Meanwhile, the team also coordinates with the various teams of the e-cell to get feedback and asks if we need other things to develop specifically to any event or not. After this, we have a meeting with the whole team. Where we discuss the APIs with the android team and the web team. At the same time, we also document all these things.
Weekly Updates
Weekly updates are monitored by the team heads and overall coordinators. Our aim of the tech team is not just to develop applications for the cell but also to make sure that all are learning at the same time as well.
So we generally follow the strategy of not telling the solutions directly, rather we encourage them to read blogs, articles, and stack overflow questions. Still, if the executives or managers are not able to solve the issue we hold a session and describe the solution as well as the cause of the problem.
Testing
After any feature is implemented we test it locally to verify that it is working as expected, we also encourage unit testing at the same time. After the development of the application, we do an alpha testing round and conduct a demo B-Quiz for the team. Bugs are noted, if any, and after fixing the test is done again with the team. Finally, after testing, we launch it publically. And then the B-Quiz is organized through the application regularly.

E-Cell Website
The official website cum web application of E-Cell is live and updated from time to time. It also powers the Android application of the cell.
Future Plans
- Registration for mentors and participants will be added.
- Funding sources and online portal for collaborating in any project will be added.
- A task manager to manage the team will be added (for internal use only).
- A portal to manage CAs (Campus Ambassadors) and a portal for CAs will be added.

The official Android application of the cell is live and available in the play store.

Wallstreet
Wall Street is a virtual game that will give the students an opportunity to see the transgressions of the market first hand. While creating a virtual stock market and providing them with virtual stocks, this game, in turn, allows students to learn to build up from the least and how to become a giant in the world of changing trends.
Future Plans
- We will be integrating ML/AI in the wall street to make it more realistic and accurate.
