Artificial intelligence is a very promising concept. It does have a few concerns like taking over the world but, I believe that most of the things it has to offer are positive. Artificial intelligence is making things easier. Whether it is picking strawberries from a field or helping an autistic kid with communication, it is improving life. Both Chiang and Newman respond to the common fear of artificial intelligence taking over the world and knocking out human life. This aspect of artificial intelligence obviously is not a positive one and definitely does need to be addressed. Like Chiang and Newman both point out, artificial intelligence has more positives than it does negatives. I feel with anything there is always a risk for something to go wrong and there really is no way of getting around it. Just like with artificial intelligence, there is a chance that something could go wring but it is providing us with so much convenience that the positives out weight the negatives.
