The Jane McGonigal TED talk “Gaming Can Make a Better World” dose answer both the “so what” and the “who cares” questions. The difference that is made in the text when these questions are answered is that to get someone to care about a topic they may not know about those two elements need to be included. The author does a nice job explaining both to draw people into what she is saying. One of the strategies she uses that i believe works and that i could reuse is used in the very beginning of her talk. She kind of jokes about her topic, talking about how crazy her ideas must sound. But then she launches into why her thoughts are logical and how her ideas work.

From chapter seven in TS/IS there are many useful ideas. I particularly liked and would recommend any and all of the temples they give. These templates, the ones from previous chapters have helped me a ton in the writing we have done so far.
