We live in a disembodied world — almost all of us completely disconnected from our bodies. Nearly unaware that we have bodies at all, however, we completely identify with our minds and egos. I’m recognizing how much of a struggle it’s been for me for a long time.

My left brain is predominant, in overdrive most days. It’s funny that I now make a living teaching yoga and preaching about embodiment — through both teaching and writing. I lead people into their bodies, sometimes for the first time ever. It’s such a gift.

I write because it’s my favorite way to share. I love to inspire and educate others. But I also write to see myself more clearly. The following are essays/stories I’ve written about my embodied path.
