Season Four Of The Impostrix Podcast Launches: Black Women Reclaiming Personal Autonomy
Impostrix Podcast is a platform dedicated to validating and empowering professionals of color navigating imposter syndrome and workplace challenges. Through deep, authentic conversations, the podcast provides listeners with tools, insights, and affirmations to reclaim their confidence and success on their own terms. The show is the 2024 recipient of the Black Podcasting Awards Best Business Podcast Award, and the 2024 recipient of the Best Society/Education Podcast from the Ear Worthy Indie Podcast Awards.
Impostrix launches its fourth season with
host Whitney Knox Lee being joined by her guest Lala, owner of the amazing 1:11 Studios in Forest Park, Georgia, to dive into the season’s focus on supporting Black women. Lala discusses her journey as a Black woman entrepreneur and podcaster, her experiences moving from California to the South, and the significance of creating joy and fun amidst the challenges.
I think Impostrix is so compelling because Ms Knox Lee has focused on Imposter Syndrome as one major consequence of centuries of chattel slavery, a century of exclusionary and vitriolic laws like Jim Crow, and the continuing undeclared campaign against BIPOC racial, cultural, and economic equality.
