Outrage over Yulin Dog Meat Festival

If you are outraged by China’s dog meat festival, also known as the Yulin Festival, thinking the Chinese are evil and barbaric, we suggest googling undercover footage of factory farms here at home. There is no difference in a dog’s ability to feel pain and suffering and a pig or cow’s capacity for pain and suffering. We as people cannot be outraged by one and condone the other. To fight these specific instances of animal suffering, we must protest all instances of animal suffering — and that means going vegan and staying vegan for life.
