EasyFi & Clover sign Strategic Partnership to bring Polkadot-based assets to L2 money markets

EasyFi Expands to Polkadot Ecosystem

We are thrilled to announce our partnership with Clover Finance to open doors for bringing Polkadot-based assets to our Layer 2 money markets powered by Polygon Network.

Clover provides EVM compatibility to easily deploy Ethereum dApps on Polkadot and create trustless two‑way pegs between ERC20 and DOT‑based assets. With our own EVM compatible Polygon (erstwhile Matic Network) framework and Layer 2 based lending protocol, we will work with Clover to build a parachain bridge for Polkadot-based digital assets for easy deployment on our platform.

This partnership will allow EasyFi to expand to and leverage the Polkadot ecosystem and enlist DOT-based assets as collaterals.

What does this Partnership entail?

This partnership is in continuation of EasyFi’s efforts in the following directions:

1. Expand and offer the EasyFi lending protocol to multiple networks including non-ethereum based blockchains.
2. Build bridges to enable interoperability between different blockchains for seamless access to their token systems to be used as collaterals on EasyFi money markets.
3. Render multichain compatibility to the EasyFi money markets by listing newer collaterals such as staked assets derivatives and native tokens from other projects.

This partnership also resonates well with our #DoMoreWithDeFi vision of continuously adding new ways to help users to maximize the utility for their crypto digital assets. We are very confident that this collaboration will open up new avenues for both our communities and users to explore faster networks to realize better yields on their digital assets seamlessly.
