With reference to our earlier announcement on conducting security audits for our protocol, we are happy to inform our community that our security advisor Halborn, has successfully conducted the first round of security checks and audits for all our smart contracts related to our Staking module.

This marks the completion of step 1 of our plan for a full protocol audit which we shall be conducting in a phased manner prior to a full reinstatement of our protocol.

These audit and testing measures are a precursor to the full reinstatement of the EasyFi protocol. The community will remember that we have partnered and retained Halborn Security, as the official auditor & security advisor for EasyFi Network.

Audit Objectives

The purpose of this particular audit was to achieve the following objectives:

  • Ensure that the smart contract functions for our Staking modules are working as intended
  • Identify potential security issues with the smart contracts in relation to external threats such as economic attacks, oracle attacks, and inter-contract functions
  • Validate extended safety and correctness in context to the whole set of contracts
  • Provide a full review and report of the audit and testing conducted
  • Provide recommendations for corrective and risk mitigation actions based on individual contract and overall findings

Summary of Staking Smart Contracts Audit

In the initial stages of the protocol-wide audit of contracts, we have started out with a thorough audit and analysis for the smart contracts deployed on the Staking / Farming module — including Dual Farming and Liquidity Farming sub-modules.

  • This audit consisted of a full scale study of the code and data structures, quality standards implemented by EasyFi for development, testing of the staking / farming smart contracts to check for any vulnerabilities and errors.
  • Halborn used security best practices for this industry to come up with a strategy for the entire audit and established techniques for a risk-scale based analysis for any vulnerability and the impact they may cause during the execution of those contracts.
  • Halborn performed a combination of manual and automated security testing with the help of some of the best security tools in the business.
  • A few low to informational grade risks were notified which have been remediated immediately.

The completion of the staking contract audits are a step forward in the direction of making a full reinstatement of the EasyFi protocol. Please note that there will be a series of continuous audits and testings which will ensure that our protocol and user’s funds are safe.

We are making this Audit Report public.

EasyFi is committed to the security of the protocol and user funds and will continue taking measures to improve our processes to ensure that we have a secure protocol for the future.
