We’ve been buzzing with excitement, but like a box full of hornets, we’ve had to keep it all contained within the studio. For over half a year, we’ve been working on a top secret project under the code name Americano. Finally, we can say that this project is Always Sunny: The Gang Goes Mobile!

Many of us in the studio were huge fans of FX’s It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia even before we started working on the project. For us, this is a dream come true, a dream full of rum hams, milksteak, and kitten mittens. We always say that we make games for fans, by fans, and this holds true with Always Sunny.

The project has been cultivating mass for over half a year. What was once a small conceptual team grew until we had a full team working at full steam. It was important for us to maintain the heart and soul of the series while making a fun and engaging game. Our main goal is to create a product that pays tribute to the show and it’s fans.

Gameplay is paramount, but so is the writing. We plan to craft unique stories that are indistinguishable from the show. Our writing team has been doing a bangup job. Running purely on creativity and Fight Milk, they are putting together gameplay scripts that are sure to resonate with long term fans and newcomers alike. Luckily for us, the show has been running for 12 years, so there’s a lot of content to inspire us.

We still have quite a bit of work ahead, but the game is turning into something special. If we’re lucky, it will surpass the success of Chardee MacDennis, The Game of Games, but we know that’s a tall order.
