Eastwick Announces CMO in Residence Program
We’ve been spending a lot of time talking to CMOs — not just the CMOs of our own clients but those in other industries and ones we admire. We’re constantly hearing that the marketer’s world is changing at lightening pace, making it difficult for even the top performers to keep up. Research shows that 60% of prospects have made up their mind before they ever talk to a sales person, which has resulted in the sales and marketing funnel now almost entirely owned by marketing. Reliance on data and analytics is imperative to reach the return on investment for marketing spend. Integration between disciplines can no longer be an afterthought; true integrated communications campaigns are the only way to break through.
The message we’ve heard loud and clear throughout these conversations is that we need to do an even better job partnering with the modern CMO to provide counsel and services that will not just help them keep pace, but guide them in new directions. We too have a lot to learn from our CMO colleagues, which why we’re thrilled to announce the details of our CMO-in-Residence (CIR) program.
The Eastwick CMO-in-Residence program is a rotating position that brings experienced global marketing leaders on a short-term basis to partner with Eastwick and lend expertise to our startup and high-growth clients who seek a strategic marketing advisor. The CMO-in-Residence will be available to our clients to advise on marketing strategy and issues facing CMOs — growth strategies, digital marketing, customer experience design, brand publishing initiatives, marketing technology investments and more. We’ll also be partnering with our CMOs-in-residence on primary research for CMOs and they will work with Eastwick staff to help us better understand the needs of the CMO so that we can develop new programs and services to better meet their needs.
