As we officially kick off our 25th anniversary year we’ve reflected on our history and how doing things differently has shaped Eastwick today. Our history definitely fuels our expertise, but it’s the future that inspires us to continue to innovate. Now we are focused on where we’re going as an agency. We’ve been known to break the agency mold in the past and plan to challenge the status quo in a few more areas this year — all in pursuit of creating fanatical clients. We’re changing the game about how we work, where we work and what kind of work we actually do. Come along for the ride…or better yet Join the Agency Rebellion with us.

JOIN THE AGENCY REBELLION

Our employees, our work style, the way we push clients to reach their potential — all attest to our commitment to buck tradition and challenge the way things are done. In this post, President Heather Kernahan, explains our 25th Anniversary theme and invites you to “Join The Agency Rebellion.”

EASTWICK’S TOP 25 CLIENT MOMENTS

A lot has changed in Silicon Valley since the 1990s. As part of our 25th anniversary celebration, we’re opening the archives and sharing Eastwick’s Top 25 Client Highlights. Every month, we’ll be sharing three stories — ranging from the early campaigns with Adobe and Oracle, to the award winning SmartHome Ventures work from our Digital Brand Lab.

ALUMNI SPOTLIGHT: TRACY BEAUFORT

Ever wondered where your favorite Eastwickers landed after their time at the agency? As a continuation of our 25th anniversary celebration, we’ll also be shining the light on our alumni as they share their favorite Eastwick memories, advice for communications success and lessons learned. To kick off the series, former Eastwick Vice President, Tracy Beaufort gives us a peek at what the early days of Eastwick held for a young communications professional.

EASTWICK NEW YORK: OUR BEST MOMENTS, YEAR TWO

People probably roll their eyes every time this cliché gets dropped — but it’s true! It has already been a year since our last New York anniversary roundup, making this Eastwick’s second anniversary in The Big Apple. Needless to say, we are still enjoying every second of it. To commemorate this special milestone, we’ve compiled our favorite memories from the past year.

Client Highlights

California-based solar photovoltaic (PV) technology innovator Solexel, Inc. came to Eastwick seeking a video that would explain how their technology will disrupt the solar power industry. Eastwick’s cleantech and creative experts collaborated with Solexel to craft a narrative for the video showing how the company has developed a new type of lightweight solar PV technology that combines high performance with low cost. The Eastwick team then used this narrative to develop a corporate video that combines executive interviews with footage of the company’s new Milpitas, California production facility. The video demonstrates how Solexel is rapidly commercializing its new solar technology, and how this lightweight, high performance technology will expand the Solar PV market. The video describes how Solexel “changes the game” with “Solar 2.0” and has been a hit with Solexel’s employees, board, partners and investors — even Al Gore is a fan. Since the production of the video, Solexel has raised $2M in funding. See the video for yourself here with password Solexel.

In April, Zuora, the world’s leading provider of subscription billing solutions, hosted its annual Subscribed user conference in San Francisco. During the event, Zuora unveiled the first report on the total addressable market for the global Subscription Economy, launched its new enterprise-grade product, Zuora ’17, and announced partnerships with Time Inc.’s Customer Service division and Slimpay. Working closely with the Zuora team, Eastwick amplified these announcements by securing 39 media briefings, including meetings with Computerworld, TechCrunch and MediaPost . In addition to securing briefings, Eastwick organized two press and analyst roundtables which focused on 1) the magnitude of the Subscription Economy and 2) how Zuora is accelerating its leadership in the enterprise software market.
