READY FOR 2016?

It may seem early, but if you’re not already planning for 2016 you should be — it will be here sooner than you think. Eastwick’s President, Heather Kernahan, has compiled our top tips for marketers who want to get ahead of the game. From messaging updates to conducting a Digital Brand Health Check, get the details here on how to make it all happen.

JOIN US AT WEB SUMMIT

Eastwick continuously scouts for the best, most impactful events in the tech industry and one that we can’t recommend enough is Web Summit. Launched 4 years ago to bolster the Dublin tech industry, the Summit has grown to 30,000 attendees and 21 main stages covering every corner of the tech industry. Global movers and shakers will be in attendance from startups to global enterprises to VCs and everyone in between.

If you will be in Dublin, please join Eastwick for a post conference, pre-pub crawl drink and nosh break at our Web Summit house located at 37 Lad Lane. We are exactly half way between the Web Summit and the City Center. The scene will be intimate and the company outstanding with speakers from many of the stages joining us to mingle.

Pop in for a quick drink or hang with us until we roll out for the pub crawl.

When: Tuesday, November 3, 2015 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM
Where: 37 Lad Lane Dublin

WEBINAR: EVALUATING YOUR DIGITAL BRAND HEALTH THROUGH SOCIAL LISTENING

CMOs and other marketing leaders are increasingly challenged to understand how their brands are performing in a cluttered and noisy social media landscape. What are considered best practices in media monitoring and measurement — in press coverage? in social media? Current challenges? Emerging trends?

Join Eastwick’s Head of Analytics and Insight, Jun Quintana, this November as they engage (and debate!) the industry’s media measurement minds in a lively online discussion.

Watch this space and follow us on LinkedIn and Twitter for more details.

GLOBAL TECH AGENCY FINALIST

We’re proud to have been a finalist for the Holmes Report Global Technology Agency of the Year award. Our CEO Barbara Bates and President Heather Kernahan attended the Global PR Summit and Global SABRE Awards this week in Miami. Congratulations to all finalists and the winner, Text100!

Client Highlights

This year marked the 15th anniversary of The Anita Borg Institute’s Grace Hopper Conference, the largest women in technology conference in the world. With an almost 40% year over year growth in attendees, the 2015 conference grew into an even more complex affair requiring months of strategic planning and coordinated integrated communications efforts across several internal and external audiences. Eastwick helped The Anita Borg Institute lay out its game plan with detailed communications playbooks to engage and empower its partners and sponsors, social media program strategy and support, conference program development with a killer team of on-site pros driving media relations activities. The result? Over 30 news outlets in attendance, 35 feature articles in prominent media outlets (with more rolling in each day), an engaged and active social presence, and many kudos from partners and sponsors. We can’t wait to see what we can achieve with next year’s Hopper!

In Q3 BMC Software unveiled its new corporate strategy known as Digital Enterprise Management — a vision and blueprint for how companies of all sizes are transforming into true digital businesses in order to expand into new markets and drive new revenue streams and capitalize on this new era. To support this, Eastwick seeded the media by developing a multi-pronged campaign that began with the award-winning ModernIT social campaign. From there, Eastwick supported two separate media campaigns including the initial launch of the blueprint and vision followed by a second wave push at Engage, BMC’s annual user conference that showcased the next wave of solutions to support the company’s new vision. By taking this approach, Eastwick was able to ensure reporters understood how the $2 billion dollar IT Management Solutions provider was investing in their own transformation, but also how they are enabling their customers with new, modern digital capabilities. This included developing a customer research survey and SlideShare engaging key media and landing coverage in top tier business and tech press. The results included 64 articles and executive Q&A’s and a 57 percent increase in corporate coverage over the previous quarter, with a strong focus on BMC’s future and how the company is Bringing IT to Life.

In September, Code42, a Minnesota-based SaaS company providing endpoint data protection and security, partnered with Eastwick to prepare for its $85M funding announcement, which also happened to be the biggest investment for a Minnesota company since 1999. The launch garnered significant results with 27 articles in publications like Business Insider, Re/code, VentureBeat, Wall Street Journal. Eastwick is excited to partner with another “Midbest” client as it enters this next phase of growth.
