This egg is giving me a food boner.

Today, I have for you a lightly toasted multi-grain baked dough topped with a seasoned-avocado-concoction and a lightly seared poultry orphan.

It’s my favorite snack or easy dinner — Avocado toast with egg!

I’ve been watching way too much Top Chef (all the seasons are on Hulu so that will take up the rest of my free time for the next 3 months). I’ve realized that a cooking competition show is my football. I’ve become intensely invested in the dishes and take joy in constantly critiquing the chefs’ poor seasoning choices. And here I am, posting a recipe for avocado toast — moving on!

I’m trying out this recipe format — let me know if you like it. My biggest peeve is having to constantly scroll up on a web page to see the quantity of which ingredient needs to be used for each step. My lazy ass ain’t got time for dat.
