What is Agoric?
Agoric is an open-source development company launching an interoperable Proof-of-Stake chain and economy. Their JavaScript-native smart contract platform offers developers a safe, reusable library of DeFi components to rapidly build and deploy on-chain. Agoric’s Hardened JavaScript makes blockchain programming safe and accessible to the 10+ million JavaScript developers. Hardened JavaScript provides a safe, stable environment that developers need in order to build, deploy, and operate sophisticated Dapps, NFTs, and DeFi markets.
Staking Agoric (BLD)

Currently, BLD is available for purchase on Huobi, Coinlist Pro and on the Osmosis DEX.
Select a validator that suits your preferences and click on “Manage”, on the pop-up window click on “Delegate”. Enter the amount you wish to stake on the following window and select “Delegate”, and click on “Approve”. You can also participate in the governance voting proposals in the “Governance” section.
Always do your own research before choosing a validator.
Staking will lock your funds for 21 days and, in the unbounding process, you will not be receiving rewards. Should you wish to change, or delegate your funds to another validator, you can use the “Redelegate” option, the process is instant and doesn’t require any waiting period.
Leave some spare BLD to cover transaction fees.
Rewards
As soon as you delegate you will start earning rewards (Every block, 10s). We can verify on our Keplr dashboard the rewards accrued. Rewards need to be claimed and can be redelegated to increase our staking size or for other purposes.
Remember that claiming rewards incurs transaction fees.
