Our people are our business, so we like to make sure that they’re engaged, passionate, and excited about Easygo! This means promoting and building a positive corporate culture. Working with us is not just a job, it’s a lifestyle. A key component of this, one small weekly event that our team hold dear to their hearts is Parma Friday.

Parma Friday is exactly what it sounds like. We go out for a Parma lunch every Friday as a team.

If you don’t know what a Parma is, you’re missing out. Or, perhaps, you’re using the controversial alternative name, Parmi. See below for Google’s definition.

Parmigiana
adjective
(of a dish) cooked or served with Parmesan cheese
“chicken Parmigiana”

When do new people find out about Parma Friday?

Day 1: Briefing. First Agenda Item — “I have sent you a calendar invitation to Parma Friday, every Friday, indefinitely”.

Parma Friday is important. We never miss Parma Friday.

Check out what our team thinks of Parma Friday below!

Caelum: “Parma Friday is a great chance for us to bond as a team and get to know each other more. Having worked mostly from home, having a great discussion with my colleagues over a scrumptious piece of chicken is as unbeatable as the 2003/04 Arsenal side.”

Jarrod: “Not sure there’s anything better than capping off a tough work week than sinking a beer and enjoying a parma with your mates. In the two years I’ve been at Easygo, I’ve probably learnt more about the people around me during that 90 period break than anywhere else.”

Jonah: “It’s a fantastic way to get to know everyone when you’re new. There’s not much better than enjoying a beer and some chicken whilst taking a couple of hours off work for the day to just relax and chat to your colleagues, which is a great introduction to the company and the people working here.”

Charlie: “The perfect chance to down tools for an hour or so at the end of the week to chat to colleagues you sometimes only really interact with digitally. Don’t get me wrong a nice meal and a beer goes down well whenever, but the social aspect is certainly what I look forward to the most.”

William: “It can be difficult to get the chance to spend time with colleagues outside of the team through the week in a work environment. Parma Friday is a great opportunity to have some quality time with the guys outside of an office setting. The Parma (and beer!) is just an added bonus!”

Wasim: “Well it’s only my third day at work and it happens to be Friday. The much awaited team parma day. I’ve heard a lot about it but it’s going to be my first one so super stoked for it! Loving the team culture here so far and I’m sure I’m gonna love the parma day as much as my mates at work already do!”

Akhil: “For me, Parmaday is what breaks the barrier between colleagues. It gives me something to look forward to and is also a way to either celebrate the achievements or laugh about the failures of the week. A great company tradition that makes Easygo a dream place to work!”

‘A man should think less of what he eats and more with whom he eats because no food is so satisfying as good company.’
