How to grow Microgreens
The tiny leaf vegetables we call microgreens grow from seeds and are ready for harvest when their first true leaves appear, usually only a week or two after planting. Fenugreek and Mustard are some commonly founds seeds in the kitchen to grow. Mustard microgreens have a peppery taste and fenugreek is slightly bitter.
These microgreens are not only healthy and tasty, they make great companion plants, when grown as adult plants and not as mircogreens. The strong smell of fenugreek plant and the bright yellow flower of mustard plants repels pests, as full grown plants.
