This story is part of the EatLove Team Showcase series. Read along to learn about our outstanding members and see what drew them to EatLove.

In three sentences, here’s some background about myself:

I was born in China, and now I am a senior studying Nutritional Science at UC Berkeley. I am new to California, but I am in love with the openness and various opportunities here. I have a wide range of interests, and the top two are traveling and exploring new things such as exotic foods.

Here’s what I do for my job at EatLove:

  • FAQ creation
  • Menu tagging
  • Updating food database
  • Outreach

My favorite thing about working for EatLove is…

Its people and the motivation here!

Why does food matter?

I believe that food can change one’s life. When I was young, my grandmother was super strict about my diet and restricted me from any junk foods. It turns out that I am healthy and fit, and I largely contribute it to the food that I ate when I was young. While a good diet keeps one healthy, a poor diet can also make people sick. Thus, as an indispensable part of human life, food not only sustains our lives, but more importantly, nourishes us.

I believe in EatLove’s commitment to health through food because…

We bring healthy meals to more peoples’ dining table.
