Ashley Hagood is a busy college student and newlywed who works as a trainer in Commerce, TX. Combining her fitness know-how with EatLove’s technology, Ashley decreased her body fat by 6% in just 3 months and dropped from a size 10 to a size 6!

Ashley wanted to lose weight for her wedding. But she focused on losing weight the wrong way and wanted to learn how to do it the right way. “I used to eat garbage. I didn’t care about carbs, protein, or fat. And I was eating 1,100 calories a day to lose weight.” As a trainer, Ashley knew nutrition was important, but she didn’t have time to research it on her own.

How She Did It

Ashley works at a gym that partnered with EatLove. She started using the platform on her own for recipe inspiration. “I find recipes and adjust them or swap out ingredients.” Ashley has learned more about balanced meals from the nutrient breakdown on each recipe. “Having EatLove has helped me a lot because I actually care about how much protein I’m eating.” And she has incorporated more foods into her diet. “I’m eating more fruits and veggies. I didn’t eat fruits at all before.” She also focuses on cooking at home rather than grabbing pre-packaged foods. “I try to cook everything — even if it’s just really quick.” These changes helped Ashley lose weight the right way and gave her the confidence to make healthy meals for herself and give recommendations to others.
