Eatmania supports Naturalment Malti and Majjal ta’ Malta

Eatmania and world famous chef Gabriele Ferron pair local Maltese produce with the traditional risotto recipes from Verona

Eatmania in association with Riseria Ferron and Planetmona will be holding a degustation event of rice and risotto dishes prepared by master chef Gabriele Ferron.

Directly from Verona, Gabriele Ferron, will be preparing an expansive menu with a variety of exceptional rice and risotto dishes.

Risotto all'Isolana

The event, which will be held over on 13th and 14th April in 2 different locations, presents an 8 course menu of rice-based dishes. The menus vary according to location.

On Wednesday 13th April, at the renowned fish restaurant Tartarun, in Marsaxlokk, Gabriele Ferron will prepare a fish-based menu combined with his own rice products. Two of the highlight dishes on the menu are risotto with fresh squid ink, and risotto with king prawns and artichoke hearts.

Ferron will then move to our capital city. On Thursday 14th April, within the baroque atmosphere of Spezzo restaurant the celebrity chef will entertain patrons with the typical risotto all Isolana and the polenta with rabbit sauce, prepared in the traditional Maltese way.

Always avid supporters of local produce, Eatmania has created a degustation menu which includes a combination of fine local ingredients and some of Italy’s most outstanding rice products. Eatmania has partnered with Naturalment Malti and Il-Majjal ta’ Malta for this event.

Naturalment Malti and Majjal ta’ Malta are projects launched by the Ministry for Resources to promote local produce including fruit, vegetables and pork. This partnership will guarantee the use of fresh, locally grown ingredients blended with exclusive Italian rice products and will create a culinary event not to be missed.
