Prepared in a couple of minutes yet it’s so particularly tasty!

Pasta sausage & broccoli

Ingredients for 4 persons:

  • 400g pasta
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 200g sausage meat, crumbled
  • 1 broccoli, cut into small florets
  • 1 tsp fennel seeds, lightly crushed
  • chili pepper
  • extra virgin olive oil

Bring the salted water to a rolling boil and add the broccoli florets. Cook for 5 minutes, drain and keep aside. Throw in the pasta and cook according to packet instructions. In the meantime, take a large saucepan, add some olive oil and cook the whole garlic clove until it browns, then remove. Add the sausage meat and cook stirring continously then the broccoli florets and season with pepper. Leave to cook for a couple of minutes covered on low heat. When the pasta is ready, drain it and add to the saucepan mixing it well with the sauce and adding some of the pasta water to make it creamier. Serve with the crushed fennel seeds, chili pepper and some olive oil.
