How do I create a Stellar Wallet?
Creating a Stellar wallet is VERY simple, free, and only takes a few seconds! Let’s jump right into it.
- Go to https://www.stellar.org/laboratory/#account-creator?network=public
- Click on ‘Generate keypair’
3. You should be able to see your ‘Public key’ and ‘Secret key’, please be sure to save your secret key somewhere safe.
That’s it! You have successfully created your Stellar Wallet.
“I have created my wallet. What’s next?”
You don’t have to do anything else right now, but in order to to use your Stellar account, you will have to activate it. You can do this by sending at least 5 lumens (XLM) to your account. You can buy lumens (XLM) from any exchange (like Binance, Bittrex etc) and send them to your Public Address/Key.
“Do I have to activate my wallet to participate in the Eatonomy Bounty Campaign?”
Nope! You don’t need to activate your wallet to participate in the bounty. Just make sure that you have created your Stellar wallet. You will need to activate it later so that you can receive the TRE tokens once we start airdropping them to your wallet. We will inform you before we start airdropping them
