The writer’s black hole

I find the act of writing to be meditative.

because as soon as I look at the blank page,

all the thoughts that have been running in a frenzy before

suddenly stops

into a complete hush.

each word, each feeling

collapses by a mysterious force

a black hole, perhaps

just like the 40 quintillions engulfing

everything around them

Every letter is pushed away, every syllable crushed before its creation.

And I keep staring at the blank page.

creating nothing out of nothing.
