Announcing Advisor HaJin Jhun
The EBC Foundation is thrilled to announce that Hajin Jhun will be joining the EBC Foundation Advisory Board. The team and Hajin Jhun shared vision of building a decentralized Tax Refund Solution for the travel industry. After having several meetings with the core members, Hajin Jhun let us know just how excited he was to learn about the project and potential success. EBC Foundation was able to complete the advisory relationship with Jhun, and excited to have him on board.
Advisor Profile
Mr. Jhun is one of the most influential opinion leaders in Korea and served as the CEO of HANCOM Inc. (1998–2001) and in the 19th National Assembly Member (2012–2016). Based on his past 30 years of experiencing numerous successes and failures, Mr. Jhun continues to act as a pioneer in suggesting solutions for the future. After the 4th Industrial Revolution, Mr. Jhun predicts that human life will be transformed into a value-oriented society with intellectual and quantitative expansion; therefore, he proposes a new concept of city called ‘Siti’ (Sustainable Intellectual Technologies Integrated) which maximizes sustainability, residence’s happiness, and integration of a blockchain-based governance and tries to spread ‘Siti’.
Currently, Mr. Jhun serves as the Chairman of SRO of Korea Blockchain Association, advisor of Korea Smart Human Tech Association, VP of The Korea Association of Urban Policies, CEO of Siti Plan Inc. and advisor of several companies.

블록체인협회 자율규제 위원장을 맡고 있는 전하진입니다.
EBC 프로젝트의 고문으로서 EBC 여행자 여러분들의 여정에 동참하게 되어 이렇게 인사드립니다.
저는 블록체인이 4차 산업 혁명의 핵심 기술이라는 믿음으로 2018년 초부터 블록체인 산업의 발전을 위해 노력해 오고 있습니다. 현재는 블록체인 기반의 새로운 거버넌스의 확대, 지속 가능성과 거주자들의 행복이 극대화 될 수 있는 새로운 도시개념 ‘SITI’ (sustainable Intellectual Technologies Integrated)를 제시하고 확산시키기 위해 노력하고 있으며, 한국블록체인협회 자율규제위원장, 한국스마트휴먼테크협회 고문, 도시정책학회 부회장 등 다수의 기업들 및 협회에서 적극 활동하고 있습니다.
이번 EBC 재단의 고문을 맡아 EBC 프로젝트가 성공적인 블록체인 실용화를 이룰 수 있도록 노력하겠습니다.
저는 블록체인이 우리시대 중요 기술로 빠르게 자리를 잡아가고 있음을 산업의 중심에서 목격하고 있습니다. 암호화폐 시장을 넘어 주류 시장과 제도권에서도 지속적인 관심을 보이고 있습니다. 페이스북은 자체 발행 암호화폐 ‘리브라’와 지갑 ‘칼리브라’의 출시를 알렸고, 이번 참석한 오사카 V20 가상자산 서비스 공급자 정상회의에서는 글로벌 산업의 규제를 준수하고 규제당국 및 정부와 같이 협력할 수 있는 프레임워크를 만들 것이라고 발표했습니다. 인터넷처럼 블록체인은 4차 산업혁명의 중심에서 전 세계 경제에 매우 중요한 역할을 하게 될 것입니다.
이번 2019년 블록체인 산업의 주요 테마는 상용화와 리더쉽이라고 생각합니다.
현재 대한민국에서도 많은 블록체인 기반의 서비스들이 출시되었고 실사용에 박차를 가하고 있으며, 다양한 산업 분야에서 블록체인을 접목하는 시도가 활발히 이뤄지고 있습니다. 하지만 아직 어떠한 국내 블록체인 프로젝트도 국제적인 리더쉽을 발휘하여 블록체인 산업을 이끌어 나가지 못하고 있는 상황입니다. 앞으로 한국에서 블록체인 산업을 이끌어 나갈 리더쉽을 가진 인재와 프로젝트가 필요하며, EBC 프로젝트도 그 중에 하나가 되리라 확신합니다.
블록체인이 차세대 산업으로 자리를 잡아가는 현 시점에서 EBC Foundation이 중요한 성장동력이 될 수 있도록 함께 하고자 합니다.
