Cousin Stizz — “Super Bowl”
2015 was an incredible year for Cousin Stizz as the Boston artist was met with widespread recognition upon the release of Suffolk County. And while the project has no shortage of replay value and is still attracting new listeners every day, it is time for the next chapter of music from Stizz and what better time to release a new single titled “Super Bowl” than before AFC Championship weekend for the hometown New England Patriots.
Boasting production from Suffolk County representative Dumdrumz (as well as Tee WaTT and Lil Rich), the Fields Corner native proves yet again he is a natural at flexing with ease, hitting us with lines such as ‘school of hard knocks I got my doctorate, talkin bout the hottest I’m the topic’ in his infectious flow which continues to capture the ears of the masses. When you match the glistening, beautifully sampled production with Stizz’s compelling presence on the mic, “Super Bowl” is the result and it is a record that will be in steady rotation, especially as the Patriots make another championship run.
Listen to “Super Bowl” below and get your weekend off to the right start. Look for Monda to be dropping sometime this spring.
