Lil Wayne F/ The LOX- Gotti

It was no surprise when the Carter V original release date of October 28th came and went without Weezy delivering the mega-hyped album. However, we now have a little more clarity in regard to Wayne’s plans and because he has recorded so much music for the project, he has decided to split it into two parts. The first part of the album will be arriving on December 9th and here we have a new offering to keep us excited. “Gotti” is a somewhat unlikely collaboration between Weezy and two-thirds of The LOX in Jadakiss and Styles P. Surprise or not, the track is a strong one as Wayne especially sounds razor sharp as he spazzes out toward the end of the track. While it remains to be seen how this two-part Carter V works out, “Gotti” is definitely a step in the right direction. Check out the track below and let us know what you think.
