Rick Gonzalez F/ Blu- I Get Lifted

If you put a face to the name Rick Gonzalez, you will recognize him as one of the main characters in the Samuel Jackson movie Coach Carter. Along with some solid acting ability, Gonzalez is also a rapper and he has delivered a strong new track “I Get Lifted” which features an underground West Coast fan-favorite Blu. The smooth song certainly fits the smoked out theme that the title suggests and both artists flow effectively over the sample heavy production provided by Tranzformers. We’re not sure what Gonzalez has planned in terms of any official projects, but “I Get Lifted” certainly shows some potential. Check out the track below and let us know what you think.
