Echo VR Dev Log| September 4th, 2020
Now that we’ve launched Echo VR on Quest, and have heard more of you asking about Echo Combat, we thought it’d be best to take the time to give you an update.
To put it simply, we are not working on bringing Echo Combat to Quest or to Quest 2 *. If there are any changes in the future, we’ll let you know at that time.
So what are we working on? Right now we’re focused on new features and tools for Echo VR, some of which have been in the works for a while whereas others are newer but vital to ensuring the game is fun and welcoming for all Echo Units.
However, Echo Units interested in Echo Combat with a VR Ready PC can currently party up with friends and battle in Echo Combat using their Rift or Quest via the Oculus Link Beta. Combat players in the Echo Combat Social Lobby or in the #echo_combat channel of the community Discord are always happy to team up if you’re looking for more players to party up with or answer questions. If you’re interested in competitive matches, the community Combat league (the Echo Combat Flamingo League) is always looking for new Echo Units to compete!
Once again, we thank you Echo Units for your continued love and support of Echo VR, and for always taking the time to share your honest feedback with us too.
