Echo VR | Ending Support for Windows 7
**UPDATE 2/26/2021: **
Next month on March 9th, 2021 we will officially end support for Windows 7 for Rift users.
To bring the best version of Echo VR to the community we are constantly upgrading the game to work in tandem with the latest technology, which is why it’s no longer viable for us to continue supporting Windows 7 for Rift users. In June of 2018 Oculus updated Rift’s minimum and recommended specs to include Windows 10, and in the next few months we will be doing the same for Echo VR on Rift. Additionally, moving to DX12 will give us more control to address critical bugs.
If you have installed Echo VR, the game will still run with its full functionality so long as your computer is running Windows 10.

In the future we’ll release another announcement letting players know exactly when we’ll be ending support for Windows 7.
