We’re back in Pandora! The long-anticipated sequel to the 3D epic science fiction film “Avatar” is out. “Avatar: The Way of Water,” directed by James Cameron and starring Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, and Sigourney Weaver, is in theaters right now and the echo3D team can’t be more excited!

After 12 years in the making, we return to Pandora to follow Jake Sully (Worthington) and Neytiri (Saldaña), who, a decade after the events of the first film, have started their own family. But the couple and their children are forced to leave their home and explore the oceans of Pandora, due to the return of a “recombinant” Colonel Miles Quaritch and human military forces trying to hunt down Sully and extract valuable resources from Pandora.

The plot now follows the Sully family as they search for a safe haven with other indigenous Na’vi people, the Metkayina Clan, known for their connection to the oceans of Pandora. But conflict is brewing, and the Sullys will have to make tough decisions to keep their new home safe.

Like its predecessor, the film is a groundbreaking feat of technological achievements. The 3D special effects and motion capture technology create an epic and visually stunning film that bring the world of Pandora to life. The film grossed over $180 million over the weekend of its release and received positive reviews from critics, who praised its visual effects.

Here are just some of the reactions from our team of 3D industry experts and enthusiasts:
