echo3D Partners With Avaturn to Add Avatars to XR/3D Projects (Tutorial)
echo3D is proud to announce a partnership with Avaturn to bring you realistic avatars. echo3D manages the backend for 3D asset management and Avaturn turns people into realistic and customizable avatars for any 3D project. They can easily be integrated into web, Unity and Unreal Engine as fully rigged 3D avatars.

Setup
Steps
- Go to the Profile page in the echo3D console.
- Hover over the profile avatar and an “Edit Profile Avatar” option will appear — click that.
- You will be prompted to scan a QR code to take a selfie on your mobile device.
- You will be redirected to your desktop. Choose your avatar’s body type, hair, outfits, accessories, pose and more.
- Save the avatar and see it appear in your Profile next to your profile picture.
- Click the “Add Avatar to Project” button next to the thumbnail if you want to see your avatar in augmented realiry.
- Go to the Content manager and scan the QR code and see yourself in AR.
