Even though Google Poly was shut down on June 30, 2021, Enterprise plan users can still access our web console and advanced API to find cached 3D models from Google Poly and store new models.
Get an API key
- Register for free to get your very own API key.
- Complete the form, choose a plan, set your password, and you’re done!
Search for a 3D model using the console
- Check to make sure your API key is set in the header (you can type and load it yourself if it’s not there).
- Click the “add to cloud” button or “+” card to add a new hologram to the console.
- Search for models by typing directly in the search bar.
- Once you find the 3D model you like, click the model, then “Next”, “Next” again, and then “Done”.
- You can now download the model in different file formats (.obj, .glb, .usdz, .fbx, etc.) and even stream it in AR!
- You did it! 🎉
Search for a 3D model using API calls
- You can also search for a 3D model by directly querying our servers.
- Use the following format:

BONUS #1: See it in AR!
- Click the “QR code” icon to generate and show the AR options. Make sure the “See on the floor” tab is selected.
- Scan the QR code with your phone’s camera app or with a QR reader app, then click the pop-up message to get redirected to our website.
- Once redirected, click the “See in AR” button, and move the phone around until it detects the surface around you.
- You can scale the model by pinching the screen with two fingers.

BONUS #2: Share it with others!
- To share the 3D model with friends, click the “share” icon to automatically copy the link to your clipboard.
- You can share the link directly through WhatsApp, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Reddit or paste the link and send it to your friends through text or social media.
- After the link is shared, anyone can access your 3D content and even scan the QR code for easy access!
