Next weekend, Eclipse Che will be out in force at FOSDEM 2019, the largest free and open source software event in Europe, and perhaps the world. Every year, thousands of enthusiasts descend on the campus of the Université Libre de Bruxelles to share in a passion for open source software.

This year, the Eclipse Che community will be participating in the event in a number of ways. We will be helping out on the Eclipse Foundation stand, located in the K building on level 2, where you will be able to see Che in action and learn more about what is coming in Che 7. We will also be participating in the .NET and Typescript DevRoom, where we hope to give a lightning talk on running VS Code plug-ins in Che, thanks to the plug-in APIs we have developed on Eclipse Theia.

We are also looking forward to attending Git Merge 2019, and sitting in on sessions in some of the other great developer-focussed DevRooms at FOSDEM this year. Come find us to talk about Che, Theia, LSP, and container development!
