There is a sad story that we all know. Sadder than that is that we are a part of it. But the saddest thing is that we do not want to rewrite it ….

But just to put things in perspective, all this money is essentially made off water and made off soil. I use ‘off’ and not ‘of’ because, we are ripping water of its purity and ripping soil of its fertility. We are clearly working against the nature, rather than with it.

Sir Albert Howard, from Wikipedia

“Since the Industrial Revolution the processes of growth have been speeded up to produce the food and raw materials needed by the population and the factory. Nothing effective has been done to replace the loss of fertility involved in this vast increase in crop and animal production. The consequences have been disastrous. Agriculture has become unbalanced: the land is in revolt: diseases of all kinds are on the increase: in many parts of the world Nature is removing the worn-out soil by means of erosion.”

“An Agricultural Testament” — Sir Albert Howard

So ultimately we are doing bad business. It is more like the boom or more-than-often bust economy, full of instability and ‘corrections’.

~What we need, is a system that is ‘ecologically sustainable’ and ‘economically profitable’.~

This is the new way of doing business, rather this will be the new way of cooperation! Get ready for it!
