In this new style of community update, we want to give you the most important information as quickly as possible, to continue to keep everyone in the ECOMI family up to speed on the development of VeVe and our community initiatives. Since our last video update, Dan has been on tour with VeVe again, appearing on the Everything Currency and Cheeky Crypto Channels.
Another interview has also been confirmed on CryptoBanter (coming soon) and you can catch Rhys in an AMA in the Satoshi Street Bets community on March 22nd, 11 am UTC.
Market Update
The market has just begun to re-open to a small testing group, and will soon begin opening to other users. As you may already be aware, we have canceled all open listings prior to opening the Market to ensure that the system remains fair for all of our users.
The Market will continue to open progressively over the coming week and is expected to be open to all users sometime next week.
Uniswap Launch Has Been Moved to March 31
The launch on Uniswap has been pushed back one week so that we can focus on this week's collectible drop- Ultra Man Series 1. With more than 80,000 users waiting patiently for new collectibles, it was decided that the app had to take priority in this decision. As such OMI will go live on Uniswap on March 31 2021.
We will also release tutorials and instructions in the coming week about how to use the swap site, as you will need to ‘wrap’ your OMI tokens in order to use them on the Ethereum blockchain.
VeVe Security Update
Some of you have expressed concerns about the security of your accounts, and we can now confirm that 2FA will be integrated into the app in the coming weeks. In the meantime, we ask that you treat your phone and VeVe account with the same security measures as you would a banking app, such as logging out when not in use, and ensuring that your email and password remain protected at all times.
