OMI token utility is now live in the VeVe web app! All VeVe collectors can join OMI Reward Tiers: Season Zero to begin earning bonus MCP Points. Along with this utility feature, we released content updates to the OMI token portal, including walkthrough guides and instructions in multiple languages to help you take advantage of the first OMI utility in VeVe.
With plenty of drops in August, we also welcomed two new artists to the platform for the first time, celebrated the first (comic) appearance of The Avengers, and Collectors at Heart — The Series made its debut.
OMI Reward Tiers: Season Zero
OMI Reward Tiers form a pillar of the VeVe Master Collector Program. Through it, VeVe Collectors will receive a range of in-app rewards, benefits, and perks for their participation, and Season Zero is the first phase of implementation of this initiative.
Participants can earn additional daily MCP Points for holding OMI tokens in their OMI web wallet. These Points contribute to a user’s Rank and Level within the MCP and will soon be spendable to access a range of in-app features and benefits.

To be eligible for OMI Reward Tiers, users must ensure their OMI tokens are bridged (deposited) to Layer 2 and transferred to their web wallet. Follow the OMI token portal instructions to learn how to bridge your tokens and begin enjoying the benefits of OMI token ownership.
The OMI Token Portal
In August, the OMI token portal was refreshed, keeping in line with the latest information about the OMI token and its integration into the VeVe Master Collector Program and third-party applications/games.
The VeVe Master Collector Program (MCP) is a holistic loyalty program that rewards active VeVe Collectors. The MCP combines the benefits of digital collecting with a unique system of OMI token utility intended to amplify the VeVe collectibles experience.
If you haven’t seen it yet, the Portal is designed to give you all the current details and information about the OMI token and teach you how to take advantage of OMI token utilities.
This includes:
- Basic token information, metrics, and supply details
- Buying and safely storing OMI
- How to deposit your tokens into the VeVe app
- Any token utilities that are currently available or in development
- Any third-party applications, games, and NFT marketplaces that utilize OMI tokens
You will also find the most important instructions and walkthroughs that will help you to move your tokens into the OMI Web Wallet (bridge), should you wish to use them in VeVe. These are available in several languages.
Updated utility information, including any rewards and perks in the MCP and associated tokenomic details, will be released when each feature is ready for public use.
As utilities are nearing release, you will find:
- Feature details on the VeVe blog in the MCP section
- Token mechanics, step-by-step instructions, walkthrough guides, and language translations in the OMI token portal
- Official Video walkthroughs on the ECOMI Youtube Channel and additional community-made video guides in the token portal
- Auxiliary information and crypto education pieces on the ECOMI Blog (you’re already here!).
In Case You Missed It
Several articles were also released on the ECOMI blog in August. They aimed to reintroduce you to token utility, walk you through features, and make finding and sharing the information you need as simple as possible.
This included:
- Instructions on how to manually add the OMI token to MetaMask 🦊
- A guide on moving OMI from the Secure Wallet and depositing to Immutable X L2
- A refresher on the OMI token and details of where/how you can use it.

With the recent announcements of OMI utility, several scam groups, impersonators, and similar posts have begun appearing across socials and in Telegram. Please be wary of any account/personality telling you to click ANY link, and always remember:
- There are NO token airdrops
- The only place to get VeVe digital collectible NFTs is on the VeVe platform.
- We will NEVER ask you to connect your external browser wallets to any service to receive a ‘prize.’

VeVe Payout
VeVe has completed the required integrations with our new provider and the beta rollout of Payout.
As such, Payout is now available to all users (provided their accounts are in good standing and they are not on the restricted countries list).
Payout is a system that allows you to withdraw your Gems from your VeVe wallet and into your bank account in your local currency. You must complete KYC and be verified before accessing the feature. Learn more:

Le Petit Prince
After being stranded in a desert after a crash, a pilot comes in contact with The Little Prince, who recounts his journey from planet to planet in his search for what is most important in life.
