February might be a short month but it was jam-packed! The VeVe rebrand is now live across all channels and the latest website update. Automobili Lamborghini made their first appearance in the app and carried Chucky to victory in the VeVe 500. Corey began to roll out new video breakdowns, OMI was renegade listed on a new exchange, Bitforex added the token to its Earn program, and VeVe steps up the releases!
Collectors at Heart 💙
In late 2017 the idea for a premium license digital collectibles platform was born. At the time it didn’t have a name, and the cryptographic technology that enabled digital collecting in the first place (non-fungible tokens) was barely known.
For the first few years of its life, we called this idea ECOMI Collect, before it was renamed VeVe by one of the most recognized names in branding and licensing- Mr. Alfred Kahn.
Since then, the digital collectibles industry has truly begun to take shape, and we have introduced some of the world's biggest brands and most popular IP to the digital arena while redefining what it means to collect in the modern era.
Along with this modernization of the collectibles industry, we recently undertook a company rebrand to make the VeVe branding more recognizable and ubiquitous across our resources.
This included updating and refreshing our logos, wordmarks, and color schemes, as well as redefining our company’s mission — to be where the world collects.
To everyone who has joined us on the journey so far, we extend our sincerest thanks for all of your support and encouragement and look forward to continuing to drive the digital collectibles industry forward with you all 🙏
Alongside the VeVe rebrand, we have also begun to deliver new types of content, particularly on the VeVe YouTube Channel.
With collectible comic breakdowns, artist introductions, and premium model overviews, these videos are an easy way to learn more about the digital collectible releases on VeVe, understand their backstories, and preview them before their release.
Community Conversations
There were plenty of conversations taking place over February, kicking off with one of our latest recruits Ryan and Chad from NFT Pirates. If you haven’t met Ryan, or want to understand more about his role with VeVe and the direction the company is heading, this a great place to start.
ECOMI and VeVe CEO David Yu was also recently featured on a podcast with artist Matt Gondek, which you can find here.
If you’ve been part of the VeVe Fam for a while you may recognize some of Matt’s work on the platform, such as Failure of Control and DEADBEATS series 1.
Workshops
In February Alex, Mitch, and Rhys also hosted a community workshop in VeVe discord, to collect ideas and feedback from the Fam, so that we can continue to deliver the best possible digital collectibles experience.

The VeVe 500
In case you missed it, MetaverseLyfe also released the hotly anticipated VeVe 500- Yosemite Circuit- one of the most incredible pieces of community content we have seen to date.
Follow the journey of Chucky, Thor, She-Hulk, and Captain America as they race through the twists and turns of the Yosemite Circuit in this unbelievable showcase of video editing skills, and of course, the budding universe that is VeVe digital collectibles.
A big shout-out goes to all of the Fam who took part, to the team owners for their participation and sportsmanship, and of course to Metaverse Lyfe for his incredible content and community spirit.
Wen Lambo?
On the 19th of February one of the most asked questions in crypto was answered (at least as far as VeVe is concerned) as the Lamborghini Huracán STO — Super Trofeo Omologata supercars made their debut in four incredible colorways and rarities.
These premium 3D models are both interactive and controllable in AR, and if you were lucky enough on the drop may have even landed a model with VeVe plates!
As an added bonus if you were a participant in the original OMI token sale (2018) you will receive a Lamborghini digital collectible as our thanks for all of your support ⭕️
We’ll announce on our social platforms and in the Telegram announcement channel when it’s time to check your inbox, so for now you don’t have to do anything to claim yours. You will however need an active VeVe account that has passed KYC and is in good standing.

VeVe Artworks
In mid-2022 VeVe launched Artworks- a new product verticle that delivers exclusive and limited edition (1/1) artist proofs to VeVe Collectors. This feature is only available through the VeVe Web App, and Collectors can place their bids in the silent auction for their chance to take home one of these incredible pieces.
New auctions open Mondays, and feature works from some of the most well-known Marvel Artists. If you missed any of them you can catch up below, or check out how to participate here.

VeVe Drops
In addition to Marvel Artworks releases, VeVe also dropped the first concept art on the platform from Disney PIXAR — Cars Concept Art Series 1.
These pieces introduce a behind-the-scenes look at the making of Disney and Pixar’s Cars and gave collectors a chance to own 5 unique editions and rarities. We look forward to bringing you additional concept art series in the future, so keep an eye out for your favorite films!

Bitubu Lists OMI
The OMI token was listed on a new centralized exchange in February- Bitubu- which was established in 2019 and is registered in Turkey.
This listing was not initiated by ECOMI. At the time of writing we have not been in communication with Bitubu, nor can we speak to the quality of their services, however, we wanted to bring them to your attention in case they serve you/your region better in accessing the OMI token.
Please be sure to do your own research on the platform before choosing to use it.
Bitforex Earn Offers OMI Rewards ⭕️
Bitforex exchange has recently added the OMI token to their Earn program, offering between 2 — 6% APR depending on the length of time you choose to participate. There are currently four options available, flexible, 30, 60, or 90 days, and the reward rate varies between them.
This is an exchange-based initiative, and any token holders participating do so at their own risk. If you choose the flexible plan you can unstake at any time, however, if you lock your tokens for X days you will not be able to withdraw them from staking until that time period has expired.
Reminder: Merge Accounts
The merge accounts feature is only available until April 30, 2023. If you currently have multiple VeVe accounts and wish to merge them under one KYC/username please be sure to merge them before the end date.
