Vemate has become a robust solution for VeVe collectors that are looking for more specialized tools and data points in their collecting journey. More recently the Vemate team has been building a web platform, which enables the next step for the project, and offers OMI token holders access to premium features and tools within the application.
The Vemate App
Vemate has now been operating for more than 6 months. It is available to download on both iOS and Android and is also accessible via a newly launched web platform.
Since its inception, the team has refined its product offering and built a suite of new features and tools to provide VeVe Collectors with additional insights into their collections and favorite brands and the VeVe Marketplace.
With the launch of the new web-app Vemate Premium is soon to be available, which is designed to bring additional value to its core user base by introducing new and desirable features, based on user feedback.
Through this partnership, OMI token holders will be granted access to Vemate Premium by simply holding OMI tokens- there is no need to spend or relinquish custody of your OMI to the application.
This provides OMI token holders with additional insights, analytics, and productivity tools to supplement their VeVe digital collectibles experience. Users can also have their say and request new features, assisting the team in improving and shaping the future development of the product.
Vemate Premium
Vemate Premium refers to specific features that will be accessible only to Premium users. To qualify for Premium you must be holding at least $200 in OMI tokens OR $100 in VMT tokens and will continue to have access to these features for as long as you hold the tokens in your connected wallet address.
There are no hidden charges or fees, and users can maintain full control (custody) of their tokens in their connected wallets.
Vemate premium features include (but are not limited to):
- Mint Alarms
- Price Alarms
- Auction Overviews and Details
- Simple import of existing collections
- Multiple Mint tracking for personal collections
How to Access Vemate Premium
Along with Premium in-app features, Vemate is launching its web app, which has been in testing over recent months. It functions in the same way as the mobile app you’re used to, only that it is accessed on a desktop computer or mobile browser.
The web app is where you’ll be able to connect your wallet and qualify for Premium access.
When the update is live, you will be prompted to ‘learn more’ from within the interface, at which point you will see detailed instructions on where you can purchase tokens if you don’t already hold some, and/or how to connect your wallet to Vemate for verification.
Users can connect their MetaMask wallet, or use WalletConnect to access a larger range of browser wallets and extensions.
In order to access Vemate premium you will need to be holding either $100 of VMT (the native token of the Vemate ecosystem), or $200 worth of OMI tokens, and these tokens will need to be in your connected wallet to be able to validate your balance in the Vemate Web App.
When you connect your wallet for the first time, you will be prompted to sign a transaction in order to validate the connection.
Provided that you are holding the correct dollar value (or more) to access Premium, you will be granted Premium access, and the value of your tokens will be recorded for future reference.
In the event that the value of your holdings drops below the $200 requirement, you will continue to have access to Premium, provided you do not withdraw/move those tokens. Your Premium access will undergo automatic validation every 12 hours, with no additional inputs from you.
Once your wallet has been successfully connected and your balances verified you will be granted Premium access. You will also be able to see your token balances in the connected wallet, and a confirmation that you have Premium.
If by chance you have connected the wrong wallet and need to connect a different one, or simply wish to disconnect your current one, you can disconnect the active wallet, and complete the process again.

FAQ
Can I Still Use Vemate if I Don’t Have Premium?
Unfortunately, to comply with Apple Guidelines, Vemate has to restrict usage of the iOS version of the mobile app to Premium users only. That means you’ll need to upgrade to Premium to keep using the iOS app, which you can do through the Vemate Web App.
Alternatively, you can access the free version of Vemate through the web application, however, the features on offer are limited.
Similarly, if you are an Android user you can continue to use the free version of the Vemate mobile application just as you do today, however, it will contain more limited features once the Vemate Premium update is live.
Do I Have to Use MetaMask to Connect to the Vemate Web app?
You can use MetaMask to connect to the Vemate web app or use the WalletConnect service for a wider variety of browser wallets and extensions. You must have your tokens at the address you wish to connect to in order to validate your holdings and be connected to the right network (Ethereum).

I’ve Connected My Wallet, but I Don’t Have Premium Access?
If you have connected your MetaMask wallet to the Vemate web app and your access hasn’t changed, please confirm:
- You have connected the correct wallet address (the one that holds your OMI or VMT tokens)
- If you are validating your OMI holdings, ensure you are on the Ethereum Network before connecting
- If you are validating your VMT holdings, ensure your MetaMask is set to Binance Smart Chain Mainnet before connecting
- Hard refresh the web application and reconnect your wallet
