Moving the OMI token between Base Layer-2 and Ethereum Layer-1 just got a whole lot faster! 🙌
Using the Relay Bridge by Reservoir, users can now forego the 7-day challenge period from the blockchain and receive their tokens in a matter of seconds.
The OMI token has been whitelisted on the Relay Bridge with liquidity provided on both layers to ensure that tokens arrive quickly and easily, regardless of which layer you are sending to.
Using the Relay Bridge
Bridging your OMI between layers doesn’t need to be complicated, connect your wallet and move your tokens in minutes using the following steps:
- Navigate to the Relay Bridge on your desktop or mobile device using this link: https://relay.link/
- Click “Connect” and select the self-custody wallet that holds your OMI you wish to bridge
- Once connected, select “Bridge” and find “OMI” from the whitelisted tokens list
- Choose whether you want your tokens to go from ETH to Base or Base to ETH. Note: Your available balance will show under each chain, along with the the maximum you can send with fees
- Click “Bridge” and sign the transaction if required.
Once the bridge has completed your transaction, you will receive a confirmation and your tokens will now be available on the new chain.
You can select “transactions” to view your history, including fees paid and the time it took to complete the bridge.
Note: The Relay Bridge is intended for use between ERC-L1 and Base L2 and will not allow you to bridge tokens to and from the VeVe Web Wallet.
