VeVe Turns One!

Last week we celebrated the 1 year anniversary of the first NFT release on VeVe (and of course- the Todd’s birthday!) as the team jumped into an absolutely mega AMA on VeVe Twitter spaces.

In it, we recap some of the stories from the past 12 months and dive into the core topics around the community, and officially mark the end of season 2!

In this AMA Dan also gives insight into the Master Collector Program, and OMI token utility coming to both the VeVe app and VeVeVerse. Keep an eye on the ECOMI and VeVe blogs for more information to come, or catch up on the conversation below!

If you don’t have time for the whole clip, you can catch up with the re-cap thread on VeVe Twitter. If you’re looking for some bonus content, and more of the VeVe story you can join David, Alex, and Noah joined in this impromptu VeVe chat/AMA that took place on Friday night as well!

Monthly Recap

September seems like a distant memory, but it was truly one of the biggest months in VeVe’s short history. From the first appearance of Star Trek to the augmented reality comic-book reader, VeVe dropped 8 digital comics, 3 premium models, welcomed The Little Prince and James Bond, and a whole lot more. If you missed any of it you can catch it all here!

New York City Comic-Con

It was a true celebration of pop culture over the NYCC weekend, with digital collectibles and comics dropping all weekend and an exclusive 20-year anniversary drop with Toy Tokyo! This was the second ‘Con’ event that we have celebrated on the platform, and of course, all of our premium NFTs were released with the ‘Con Exclusive’ tag attached.

Bond, James Bond

VeVe recently announced a licensing partnership with Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios & EON Productions to launch the first-ever digital collectibles for the recently released film “No Time To Die.”

Not only is this one of the most recognisable film franchises in the world, the partnership but also saw the first-ever NFT/cinema ticket release combo, with 7 lucky winners acquiring this incredibly rare NFT and scoring 7 tickets each to see the latest Bond film! Keep an eye out for more Bond content, coming soon!
