Thank you for reaching out about wanting to be apart of The Econix publication on the Medium platform! I’m certainly looking forward to working with each of you. I’m not sure how many of you are familiar with this platform but it’s a great place for creatives and thinkers to express themselves in literary form. Why Does This Publication Matter?
I’ve been writing for a while and had no where to send my articles. As a result I just stopped. I then found Medium and was extremely pleased with the quality of ideas and well thought out perspectives I was being exposed to.
From there I started to look for Black or minority run publications and to my surprise there are little to no currently active ones. So as you guessed it I decided to create my own and since most of you know I run a platform called Econix I wanted it to be centered around all types of entrepreneurship topics.
This means I cannot make this happen without you. This will be our community and our collective to grow organically through well thought out pieces.
What To Expect
For now we are keeping the amount of writers limited until we can vet the quality of your work. So if you’re still interested check out our submission guidelines and submit your work there. If your article is not approved it’s ok! It may not fit our guidelines or might be missing a few things. Revise it and submit it again.
Each article you write should be promoted on all of your platforms. If you don’t tell anyone you write no one will read it. Get out of that comfort zone and share your work with the world. Send links to your friends and family and ask for critiques. If you like someone else’s article leave a comment!
